1. Tastee Platters - Wayne, NJ

Order: Mixed platter, chicken shawarma sandwich, honey mustard wings, mango habanero wings (Total $30)
Definitely going to my new go-to platter place. The flavors in all the food I ordered were great. The meat tasted fresh and well-seasoned. I love good wings and trust me, these were it. They were just the right size and had the perfect amount of sauce. They just opened recently so give them a try!
2. Gyro Grill - Wayne, NJ

Order: Beef Yummy platter with spicy rice, buffalo wings, Turkish coffee (Total $17)
The owner is such a jolly guy, it'd be a surprise if you don't smile while talking with him. Their serving size is huuuuuge. And they are one of the few places that give more meat than rice. And the meat is great! I thought the buffalo wings was gonna have the sauce already on it. It tasted better alone than it did with the sauce. The Turkish coffee was a little too strong for me but it did have an interesting taste to it.
3. NY Gyro King - Bloomfield, NJ

Setting: Takeout and indoor seating
Order: Mixed Chicken and Lamb Gyro Platter (Total $8)
Not gonna lie, their quality has gone down since the last time I've been there, but even so, its a solid platter that doesn't disappoint. They have a bunch of toppings that you can add with no extra cost and the service is very good.
Silk City Platters - Paterson, NJ (Permanently closed)
Parking: Metered street parking
Setting: Takeout and indoor seating
Order: Mixed platter, crispy chicken sandwich, seasoned fries, can of soda (Total $15)
This is one of the most active restaurants in the community. The food is prepared very healthily, you could taste it. The meat tasted very fresh and good, but I didn't really like the rice that much. The rice absorbed too much of the flavor. The white sauce is the best out there. The crispy chicken sandwich and the seasoned fries were great.
