Pizza (4 spots!)

1. Ralph's Pizzeria - Nutley, NJ

~Restaurant does not serve Zabiha halal meat~

Parking: Street parking

Setting: Sit in and takeout

Order: Half plain cheese, half mushroom pie + drinks (Total $22)

This place is great! They have really fresh ingredients. And even tho the top of the pizza looks over done (which it’s not) the bottom is toasty/soggy like the perfect texture 😍. Cheese seems overwhelming in the beginning but really it’s perfect. The mushrooms with the cheese is literally such a great combo. The chef is really nice and friendly and they have great waiters. Fairly busy place I went at lunchtime and it took 25 mins for the pizza and people picked up orders continuous during the hour I stayed there. Definitely would come again.

2. Alaeddin's Pizza - Clifton, NJ

Parking: Restaurant is in a parking lot

Setting: Sit in and takeout

Order: Large plain pizza, large buffalo chicken pizza (Total $28)

The buffalo chicken pizza without the carrots and celery is by far my favorite. It's zesty and flavorful. The plain pizza was okay, the amount of cheese and sauce were the perfect amount. Both pizzas were very fresh, straight out of the oven. Their new location looks really nice btw (swipe right)

3. Robert's Pizzeria - Newark, NJ

~Restaurant does not serve Zabiha halal meat~

Parking: Street parking, paid parking lots (be careful of permit parking areas)

Setting: Sit in and takeout

Order: Buffalo Chicken Pie (Total $16)

You can't go wrong with pizza for lunch! Popularly known as Robs for short by nearby college students, the pizzeria has different kinds of slices with some unique takes. The buffalo flavor was a little too strong and overpowered the taste of the pizza. The slices are huge and they are not skimpy on the amount of chicken they give.

4. Biagio's Pizza and Pasta - Wayne, NJ

~Restaurant does not serve Zabiha halal meat~

Parking: Parking lot right in front of restaurant

Setting: Sit in and takeout

Order: Plain slices and baked ziti pizza (Total $12)

Biagio's? More like Bye-agio's amirite? 😂😂 jk lol but seriously the pizza here was soooo bland. The plain was lacking with its cheese and sauce and the baked ziti pizza tasted almost like they just boiled the pasta and stuck it in their pizzas.
